Friends of Alta Plaza Park is a non-profit, volunteer-led organization with a mission to maintain and improve this this historic space on behalf of our neighbors and city.
For the past several years we have focused on advocating with city government for maintenance, repairs and revitalization, and led volunteer gardening and cleanup events.
We are entering a new chapter. We have reconstituted our board, and recognize that Alta Plaza is not living up to its potential. We have a master plan, and we endeavor to raise legacy-defining gifts to revitalize the park for all San Francisco to enjoy.
